Steven currently serves as the President of the group's Investment Fund Manager, CareVest Management Corp., and also serves as the CareVest's Group CFO, and brings two decades of real estate finance and management experience to his role at CareVest. Prior to joining CareVest in 2021, Steven served as CFO for over 15 years with a leading Calgary home builder and land development firm. Steven started his career in public accounting at Deloitte. At CareVest, Steven is responsible for overseeing and directing the financial reporting, budgets, cash flows, compliance and risk management for the group. 

In addition to holding the CPA, CA designation, Steven earned a business degree from the Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria, and has completed the Canadian Securities Course and Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Examination through the Canadian Securities Institute.

Outside of work, Steven enjoys many activities with his family, including mountain biking, skiing and occasionally hacking his way through the local golf courses.
